"The breakfast in this hotel is incredible! It was one of the highlights of our morning. The rooms are of a good size and really well equipped. The staff are so helpful - nothing is too much bother and then are always helpful, smiley and say hello / goodbye. For a 5* hotel though there were a few things that surprised me about this place.. 1) the pool drinks service - this was non existent. You had to go into the hotel, to reception and ask if you can order drinks. There seemed to be a bar outside but it wasn’t being used. The staff were also very slow at clearing up the drinks by the pool too. They’d be there for hours. 2) the cleaners.. we totally appreciate they are trying to enhance your stay by ensuring you have clean towels twice a day etc but.. coming in 3 times each day was a little excessive and felt intrusive. They would knock and just come in rather than wait a few seconds to see if someone was in the room. I would say this would be a top end 4* hotel rather than 5*."
