San Clemente Palace Kempinski Hotel Venice

"We have stayed at this hotel on numerous occasions.and again the hotel was fantastic.the hotel itself self is on its own island a short 10 minute boat ride laid on by the hotel every 30minutes both ways. The rooms are large and spacious well equipped. The food is excellent and served very well by all staff who just want to please you. The grounds of the hotel are excellent and well maintained. The bonus of the hotel is a fantastic pool area with an excellent Resturant attached to the pool area. In our opinion the best thing of the hotel is you are only a short ride away from st marks square yet you feel miles away from all the crowds. We shall keep coming back to the hotel for our yearly visit. Keep up all your good work at the hotel"

"I am currently staying at the San Clemente Palace and I commend the hotel for its fantastic location, relaxed atmosphere, beautiful rooms and attentive staff. However I am writing because I want to highlight the appalling service from the pool bar in the hope that something will be done urgently to rectify the major criticism of an otherwise excellent experience. In a matter of only 4 days, there have been numerous instances of delays, being ignored at a table, being told they're too busy despite there being few customers, etc., etc. Goodness knows how they will cope in high season. The hotel needs to urgently review the management and staffing of the pool bar which is a major attraction for this hotel. If they fail they will receive complaints that are far more severe than this."

"What an amazing place. Genuinely exceptional in every respect. The hotel itself is one of the most beautiful I think I’ve ever stayed in, and it’s genuinely special. Whilst there were a few niggles with the service, what really impressed me was the fact that they tried really hard to sort things out for us. So overall, a fantastic place and somewhere I really enjoyed."
