Canal Grande

"I had planned my stay at the Hotel Canal Grande for almost a year. I chose this hotel for the location and that they have a private dock that will accommodate our needs for our upcoming cruise. The staff was so helpful and accommodating to me prior and during our stay. They answered so many questions to help my trip run smoothly and could not have been nicer! The room that we had was one of the best that I have ever stayed in. It was really quiet and the views of the canal from our window were gorgeous! Cheers to the amazing staff especially Anke! This made our stay extra special! We will definitely be back soon!"

"Room 1 on ground floor was excellent- side view of a quiet alley - canal views are more expensive Lucia on Reception at arrival was extremely helpful and gave us lots of useful local information Breakfast on the outdoor deck overlooking the canal is a special memory Great location for water bus stop and only 2 bridges to cross for Santa Lucia train station Bar service was good and prices reasonable in the hotel’s courtyard area - gets afternoon sun. We accepted the hotel’s invitation to visit Murano glass factory and from there we caught a ferry to Burano Cleanliness and service excellent, breakfast good for price point- highly recommend and would return"

"Wonderful place to say with a with high attention to customer service. The breakfast was wonderful. The check in was great! Wonderful recommendations for dinner and tips for using the water bus. The rooms were comfy and clean, decorated with Venetion style. Perfect location for train travelers to Venice."
