"A very comfortable resort south of Victoria close to the cliffs towards Malta. The place is nested into the typical nature of Malta/Gozo. The rooms are clean and spacious and offer even some private terrace. The bathrooms could be improved by better lighting and shower-curtains. The hotel area offers splendid pools, trees and plants.. This includes Spa-services. The overall service is friendly and helpfull . Breakfast and dinner could see some improvements, while offering almost everything of a full breakfast bar. You are well adviced to care about transportation, possibly with the help of the reception desk, we recommend the fairly reasonable rental car."

"The hotel has beautiful surroundings — the lobby looks nice, and the outdoor area of the restaurant with the big carob tree is really beautiful. There is a lot of outdoor space, and even though it wasn’t the season, the outdoor pools looked very inviting. The SPA heated pool was also very nice, and we liked the private outdoor area near the pool that belongs to the room. Unfortunately, that’s where the positive experience ends. The room felt small, dark, outdated, and not very clean. The furniture is old, and they provided a baby cot that looked at least 30 years old, with peeling paint, which was quite shocking. The beds were too soft and uncomfortable. The whole room had a vibe of a cheap American motel from the 80s. The restaurant itself (indoors) was not impressive and didn’t match the nice outdoor setting. The bathroom was also disappointing — outdated, dark, and very difficult to adjust the water temperature (either too hot or too cold). The TV was old (still with teletext), and there was no smart TV, which was inconvenient for us as our baby sometimes watches stories or calming songs before sleep, so we had to use a mobile, which we normally avoid at home. We didn’t have a WiFi signal in our room at all. Staff overall seemed very uninterested. A few people were nice and greeted us, but the majority showed a level of indifference I have never experienced in a hotel. Another issue was comfort — they only provide a duvet, which was too hot, but without it, it was too cold. We couldn’t use AC cooling either, as our baby sleeps uncovered, which made nights quite uncomfortable. Breakfast felt more like an average 3-star hotel, definitely not what you expect from a 5-star property. Coming back home from Ta’ Cenc, our own home felt like a 5-star hotel 😄 Overall, this hotel feels cheap and is far from a 5-star experience."
