Chic stay just outside Marrakech
Just outside the centre of Marrakech, stays here are equal parts relaxing and revitalizing. Location-wise, it’s the best of both worlds. Close enough to the action when you want a taste of the hustle and bustle, but with plenty of peace and quiet, too.
Kick off the unwinding by one of the outdoor pools, each of which has a swanky set-up complete with luxe sun loungers and a palm tree backdrop. As for the kids, there’s an on-site mini club which is open for children between the ages of six and twelve, while all ages can blow off a bit of steam in the playground. But if a family trip round the sights is on the cards, you’ll love how close you are to the action. Koutoubia and Jemaa el-Fnaa Square are both within 20 minutes’ walk of the hotel, or you can hop on the bus from the stop about five minutes’ walk away and get around the city with ease.
Grab a bite to eat in the medina or head back to the hotel and tuck into their offering. The main restaurant is a buffet number that deals in international fare, so expect plenty of flavourful options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Elsewhere two à la carte joints serve up French-Moroccan cuisine in chic surroundings, while a poolside bar doles out daytime snacks and drinks. There’re four more bars on deck, too, so you won’t be short on spots for an evening tipple.
