"We stayed at the Barcelo on an All inclusive basis, this includes breakfast, snacks around the pool and evening buffet dinner including all local non branded spirits, beers and wines in the bar, at the pool and in the restaurant. They also offer an AI plus which provides branded drinks instead of local, a private dinning area and a larger selection of included pool snacks. Standard all inclusive was perfect for us. The hotel is well laid out, with a couple of restaurant options (additional cost)around the main reception and bar. Gardens well looked after. Check in was swift and efficient, rooms clean and tidy, beds are rock hard, decor 80's club spec. In room Tea and coffee making facilities are provided as well as a safe. Rooms are cleaned every day to a very high standard. The hotel runs a free return shuttle bus into the city centre every 2 hours. It just needs to be booked at reception. Don't worry about trying to buy currency in the uk or at the airport, the reception will change euro's or £ for you, there is also a cash point if you only have a card. Top tip for the restaurant, even though it's all inclusive, tip the guy that shows you to your table and you'll be treated like royalty every meal. The temperature in March was around 22-24 degrees during the day, great weather for lounging by the pool, but bring a jumper or fleece for the evening as the temp drops as soon as the sun goes down. We'll certainly be back for an early summer break."
