My wife and I are guests at the hotel, and I wanted to provide some feedback on our experience. Our interaction with the Concierge staff has been noteworthy and quite memorable. In addition to their engaging personalities and demeanors, both Boyd and Erben, have made arrangements for us, which have been essentially perfect.
They selected a car service to pick us up at the airport and transport us to the hotel. The driver met us exactly as Erben had described, having signage with our name so we could easily identify him. He was on time, meeting us in the designated spot, conveying a warm, genuine welcome for us. He immediately took our luggage and guided us to the Mercedes van which took us to the hotel. Along the way, he provided informative, interesting and entertaining conversation. We are using the same service to go from the hotel to the cruise embarkation pier tomorrow morning.
Earlier today we visited with Boyd, inquiring about different activities for the afternoon. He recommended booking a small group canal cruise. We had him reserve places on a tour which he said matched our demeanor and expectations. The canal tour was precisely how he described it to us. His comments about the boat captain, the snacks offered, and the other persons that would be on the tour were exactly as he relayed them to us, and we thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of the tour.
It is this type of high-level service that has kept me returning to Marriott hotels for our travel needs. The knowledge, and professional expertise conveyed by Erben and Boyd in making the arrangements mirrored all of what we were hoping to experience. Their recommendations and assistance validated our confidence in relying on the Concierge staff to make our travels enjoyable, stress free, and exactly in line with our expectations.
Your staffing selection of such a high-profile position as Concierge demands high praise. My compliments in hiring individuals whose talent and contributions serve to elevate customer service at your hotel. I look forward to returning to the hotel to again experience the high level of customer service, local knowledge, attention to detail, and entertaining interaction provided by Boyd and Erben.
