"Had this hotel booked by the travel agency for business for two nights as wanted a boutique hotel experience. In the first evening noticed that there is no electricity in my room. Three staff members tried to fix it but without any success. Had to stay in a room for a night without any electricity did not complain about even though it was a big discomfort. My laptop battery was dead and glad had some power left in my power bank with me so was able to charge the phone. Was I offered a flashlight? A candle? No, nothing. Not a big deal, but would have been a nice and professional gesture. Instead of this I got a drink voucher for this. Oh and also a room change was basically out of question from the staff. Next day electrician came and fixed electrical problem. After I finished my shirt in a staff barn. On the check out day asked the reception if it would be possible to get a 1pm checkout instead of 11am. Receptionist told me that yes it’s possible but I have to pay 75 euros. Really? The night costs over 200 euros per night. Did not ask for a compensation for the electrical issue, but I would expect some understanding in return and flexibility by not charging on top. All in all, there are poor guidelines by the management and training staff adequately. Staff lacks problem solving and flexibility. The hotel is not worth 4* at all as it lacks facilities for a proper hotel of this level. Even though the location and the staff are nice people in general. My advice for travellers - better get a neighbouring Marriot instead. Might cost slightly more, but would be a sure thing."

"This hotel was a total disappointment. Given the price and reviews, i expected so much more. Instead I got a great bed and quiet room -- but everything else about the stay was mediocre. For the price, should have been much better. 1) Stark room, minimal decorative touches 2) bathroom complete with heavily stained stone vanity 3) minimal amenities in room -- no water, not even any tissues 4) breakfast room was too small, so very cramped and had to wait for table, with single coffee machine so a continuous line for coffee despite fact that coffee machine did not dispense properly 5) breakfast selection was not at all commensurate with price of hotel, commerical pastries and standard selection. More like a Marriott Courtyard than a reasonably expensive Euro hotel."

"Ideal location, friendly staff, large room for 4 people and decent breakfast. We were 2 adults + 2 teenagers in 1 room and had certainly enough space."
