Palladian Hotel

"Stayed here for three nights and found it to be a lovely hotel in an excellent location. We were given complimentary drink vouchers on arrival, which was a nice touch. The breakfast was excellent, with a fantastic selection available each morning. The hotel is situated next to the main square and, as we were staying on the fourth floor in a road-facing room, there was quite a lot of noise from outside. We could hear activity from the square late into the evening and from around 5.00am the noise from the dustbin lorries became noticeable. We were initially allocated Room 409 and on first night we could hear a loud vibrating type noise. This started up roughly every 20 minutes and ran for around 10 minutes each time, which unfortunately disturbed our sleep. I reported the issue to reception, who seemed to be well aware of it stating the room is next to an air conditioning unit. Thankfully, they were able to move us to another room. Had there been no alternative rooms available, our experience may have been very different."
