"Very clean inside and out. Great outdoor space, the pool was very quiet we mostly had it to ourselves and it was really nice to have a private garden. The accommodation is very spacious, if a little dated but clean and does the job. Staff super friendly. The sushi restaurant is lovely and the homemade lemonade is delicious. Only criticism would be you can really hear the people above you and I did loose a nights sleep due to banging and crashing until gone 2am."

"Myself and adult daughters stayed here in Oct 25. We wanted a holiday away from the hustle and bustle of the busy resort centres and found this beautiful little gem Vila Do Castelo. All I can say is it was just perfect for us in everyway! The 2 bed ground floor apartment was spotless and spacious with a garden with your own sun beds, and access to the pool, there is a seperate BBQ area that we used and a restaurant on site. There are 2 beaches just 5 minutes away down hill, but manageable, and a cafe/ restaurant on each. We booked taxis when we wanted to access the old town for a wander and restaurants and a bigger supermarket €6 approx. The staff are experienced and so polite and helpful. We loved it so much, we have booked again for Oct 26 and we are already excited to be going back!"
