Monchique Resort and Spa

"A very relaxing experience in the mountains of Monchique. Loved the spa, buffet breakfast and meeting some amazing people. The staff were mostly helpful when required and a special shout out to Ricardo and Leo ( at the pool bar) who went above and beyond with service. No complaints at all. Thankyou."

"Lovely hotel with beautiful modern rooms/suites, cleaned really well each day. We stayed in a panoramic suite with a lovely large terrace with sunbeds. Good value for the cost. Lovely food excellent buffet choice most days. All staff extremely friendly and made you feel really welcome. Nice to have 2 pools - a large unheated and a covered heated pool but with covers that retract. 1 slight issue was on 1 day the buffet wasn't available so offered "a la carte" but this was very limited - only 2 starters, 3 main (1 x vegetarian) and 2 desert. As I am gluten free and allergic to shell fish disappointing. Also with the buffet you had the choice of a fixed price for wine with the meal. This was not available on this night. This problem was resolved though the following evening by the manager of the restaurant. Overall a lovely experience."
