"While not in the heart of old town Lisbon, this hotel is in a quiet area and we highly recommend it. The rooms are spacious and well appointed. The views of the city and the river are captivating and constantly changing. There is a shopping mall and food court just across the street. It is a short taxi ride to almost anywhere. We walked from Restoration plaza. Avenue Liberdad is very pleasant. The walk up the hill to the hotel is good for getting your steps in. Eduardo Park is close by. The hotel restaurant is very good and not at all crowded. The hotel has a pool, weight room, and spa. Everyone on the staff is very helpful."

"Overall very happy with our stay, the room was nice, was of a good size and had a great view. My only complaint relates to the pool which only allows kids under 12 for a very short window between 12:00 and 14:00. This is a very silly time slot, because at lunchtime families are either having lunch or sightseeing in Lisbon. Would have been much more appropriate to have a morning and/or afternoon slot for kids, or instead a time which is only for adults. We booked this hotel primarily because had a pool, not realising that we would not be allowed to use it. "

"The hotel is on the edge of the main part of the city with a few local bars and restaurants around and a half hour walk down hill into the main part of town. We had a premium room on the 17th floor which had great views and was a good size. The hotel however lets itself down on a few points. We had access to the “VIP lounge” but this is really an unattended room with a few soft drinks and pastries, not worthy of being a selling point for an upgrade. The spa is a small, cold pool in the basement which again was unattended and had unaccompanied children running round when we visited. The final let down was the reception staff who didn’t ask how our stay was when we left - indicative of not really caring much, as we’d seen with the other issues."
