"We had the best time at the H10 Duque de Loule, staying here for 4 nights during our trip to Lisbon. To say the hotel made our trip is an understatement! From the moment we arrived we were greeted with warmth and made to feel extremely at home (in fact, no sooner had the doors of our Bolt ride opened and we were being ushered inside, poured a glass of sparkling wine, given a plate of treats and our luggage whisked away). Wish we had gotten the name of the lovely gentleman who took care of us! Iris at the front desk was fantastic and checked us in efficiently and with great ease. Our room was ready two hours early and even though we had only booked the standard room, we were very impressed with the interior design and overall amenities including a very cute window seat from which you could watch the world go by. The room was extremely comfortable, the beds amazing, quiet at all hours of the day and perfectly temperate. The hotel’s rooftop bar is a standout and was always busy (we never struggled to get a seat though). The ambience was relaxed and the cocktails divine. We felt the prices were fair for the quality, views and excellent service. Dont miss it! Most of all, we loved the breakfast each morning of our stay. Luciana and Bruno made a particularly strong impression on us; being so friendly and good humoured whilst also making sure our every need was taken care of. We were also happy to see them. The breakfast itself was beautifully presented, of very high quality with plentiful options, items replenished promptly and overall service from all staff nothing short of excellent. Loved the “chefs dessert of the day” and the milkshake like smoothies. The a la carte options were also fantastic and it was made clear we could order as many items from the menu as we wanted. Definitely include breakfast in your stay - it set us up well for busy days of sightseeing and we didn’t need to eat again until dinner time! Housekeeping was also fantastic: cleaning our room every day without request, replenishing water, towels and generally returning the room to its beautiful standard. Just a point of reassurance to anyone who is unsure about the centrality of the location: we went back and forth a few times before our trip, considering whether the H10 was actually in our desired location and seriously contemplated rebooking another hotel closer to the Baixa-Chiado area. It was really due to previous outstanding stays at the H10 Palazzo Galla in Rome and Casa de la plata in Seville that we nevertheless still chose to stay here in Lisbon (despite it being slightly further out from the main sights of the city). We had absolutely nothing to worry about it turns out. The location was fantastic. Safe, clean and generally quite elegant with a large supermarket immediately across the road (for water and snacks) and a pharmacy a few seconds away. Great restaurants and shops around too. The metro was less than 5 minutes stroll away and extremely easy to figure out. Only 2-3 stops from the Baixa-Chiado metro station and an easy change to get to Cais de Sodré for our day trip to Cascais. We very much enjoyed the walk into town via the Avenida de Liberdade as well as the smaller side-streets which were very scenic. And getting a bolt or uber was cheap and super easy for longer distances (i.e to the Praca de Comercio, Belem, Monestary etc) - no more than €5-8. We were so glad we hadn’t changed our reservation plans and that we stuck with our instincts to come to the H10 Duque de Loule. It was lovely walking around the beautiful city all day and then returning to the cool, fragrant, stylish surroundings of the hotel with all its comforts and excellent staff on hand to make you feel at home. Lisbon is a stunning city and I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to any potential visitors who want to elevate their time in the city! Thank you H10!"
