Martinhal Lisbon Chiado

"We recently visited Lisbon with our 6- and 8-year-old boys and had the best stay at Martinhal Chiado. We arrived early in the morning and were lucky enough that our room was already ready, which allowed us some time to rest and make it until bedtime on our first day, so jet lag wasn't even a thing. The room was spacious and comfortable and the kitchen was even stocked with fruit, milk, and orange juice. The location is perfect, the staff are friendly, and our kids LOVED the kids club so we didn't even feel guilty dropping them off and enjoying some nice adults-only meals. We hope to return to Portugal and would not hesitate to stay at any Martinhal resort again in the future - it's worth every penny."

"This hotel was the perfect spot for our trip. Close to everything we wanted to do, yet somehow felt just quiet and tucked away enough to be a restful oasis after a day of sightseeing. The suite was lovely--very clean, so much space and beautifully appointed. The bed was super comfortable. We did not make use of the kitchen, but had we been traveling with our whole family, it would have been an enormous asset, for convenience and cost-savings. The daily breakfast was wonderful, with a really nice assortment of hot and cold options. Still thinking about the still warm from the oven pastel de nata! Every member of the staff we encountered was wonderful, too. They were friendly and helpful and helped us feel really at home. David was especially kind and helpful in assisting us with an early check-in, getting oriented, and directing us to a spot to pick up a sim card to make things easier. We loved our entire trip to Lisbon, and the stay at Martinhal was a big part of that. If we are ever back, we will most certainly book here again."
