Real Parque

"This hotel has friendly staff and has great nearby Metro (10 minutes to the city centre) and bus stops. There's also a huge El Corte Ingles (a bit like a Harrods) near the metro station (Sao Sebastiao). It's also located very close to the Gulbenkian Museum and the Parque Eduardo VII and if you fancied walking , it's an almost straight path from there down to the Praca do Comercio and the River Tagus. It's also just far enough away from the city centre to be keenly priced. Rooms are spacious and although just a bit dated, the fabric is well maintained and very clean. I didn't dine or have breakfast there, so I can't comment on the food, but I did have probably the best Gin and Tonic in the hotel bar that I've ever had anywhere in all the times I've been to Lisbon."

"We stayed for 3 nights. All aspects were good and we would return here if coming back to Lisbon. Slightly out from the city centre but not a problem as the walk through the parks and gardens was pleasant. Bar staff very friendly - reception less so. Breakfasts were very good but evening dinner menu disappointing so dining out is preferred - especially with so many choices. Nice coffee shop just off reception."

"This hotel is comfortable, room has a huge bed and well fitted bathroom. Breakfast good too. It is close to two different metros, Saldana and San Sebastian. A few minutes walk down to regular buses. You get to Rossio quite quickly, it goes via Pombal and Liberdade. We walked it the first time but the bus so easy and a daily ticket covering buses, trams and metro is available to buy from Tourist Information kiosks and metro stations. Really enoyed Lisbon, just wish we had booked a longer stay to enable us to go all we wanted to. Good day out by train from Rossio railway station to Sintra, well worth it."
