"The hotel is situated in the town centre, so away from the Porto river frontage. Very friendly reception staff on arrival. The hotel has a breakfast/ buffet area but does not serve a full menu choice. Our room was very clean & quiet and we would happily stay again."

"My wife and I visited this hotel for a short break in Porto We loved the outdoor area, with pool and sunbathing, but felt the hours need to be customer led rather than the rules of the staff- it closed at 8 on a lovely evening- and awful musak was a distraction. The room was fine, similarly the breakfast with a good selection of pastries- but I have never, whilst travelling, been asked for an extra €5 for an omelette. Location is good with the station and superb market hall within easy reach. If they can improve these issues I would stay again."

"This is a modern hotel with good facilities in an excellent location in the heart of the city, a short walk from Aliados metro station. The reception and bar staff are friendly and helpful and create a relaxed atmosphere. The room was of a good size and clean with a very powerful shower, although being on the ground floor in the far corner of the hotel, was dark with very little natural daylight due to a wall and various plants close to the outside terrace. This wasn’t critical for a short break but would be offputting for a longer relaxing stay. Breakfast had plenty of choice including gluten-free options although with only a small area, is very crowded, particularly around the refrigerated counter. It would be preferable if English breakfast tea bags were provided at breakfast (although they are supplied to the room), as although English breakfast tea is available, it does look a little complicated to brew, and tea bags would be quicker and simpler! Overall I would recommend this hotel."
