"We recently stayed at the Hotel Barcelona Catedral, and it exceeded every expectation. After experiencing other hotels in the city that felt dated, this property was a breath of fresh air and offered incredible value for a premium stay. The Rooms:The newly renovated rooms are exceptional. The design is modern, sleek, and incredibly clean, with comfortable bedding and excellent soundproofing. It truly felt like a high-end sanctuary to retreat to after a long day of exploring. Common Spaces & Pool: The upscale design carries throughout the entire hotel. The common areas are stylish and welcoming, and the rooftop pool area is the perfect urban oasis—wonderfully relaxing and well maintained. Breakfast & Service: The breakfast quality was outstanding, offering a fantastic spread of fresh, high-quality options that went well beyond the standard hotel fare. Location: You cannot beat the central location. It is perfectly situated for walking to historical sites, local markets, and great dining, yet the hotel itself remains peaceful and quiet. If you are looking for a refined, modern, and perfectly located boutique hotel in Barcelona, this is it. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!"

"The room was HUGE by European standards. Very comfortable and very clean. The shower was the best. Staff were very helpful. We were leaving too early for the included breakfast so they boxed it for us and it was delicious. Location is right in the middle of the Gothic Quarter close to a lot of tourist attractions like La Rambla."

"My wife and I spent seven days in Barcelona in April 2026, staying at this hotel. The hotel's location, right next to the Cathedral, is ideal for exploring the Gothic Quarter and its surroundings. The rooms are clean and cozy—with the exception of a few rooms on the first floor, where a rather noticeable hum from the restaurant equipment located below may disturb some guests' sleep. The staff is very helpful and responsive. The receptionist, Laura, displayed exceptional patience and provided us with invaluable assistance, guiding us to the hotel over the phone when our GPS navigator failed to plot a route. During our stay, she continued to assist us, answering all our questions and offering useful tips. The front desk manager, Nuria, went above and beyond—and then some—to ensure our stay was as comfortable as possible, offering us the best room. A huge thank you to the entire staff—and especially to Laura and Nuria—for making our stay so enjoyable. Guests planning to arrive by car are advised to plan their route in advance; at a certain point, your GPS may suggest parking nearby and walking the rest of the way to the hotel."
