Hotel Almirante

"Enjoyed a wonderful 4 nights in almirante all staff fantastic helpful and kind we were treated so well,I will come back again Everyone working in the hotel so nice and helpful and sincere loved it pity to be leaving so soon my mam 81 it was our first holiday since she became ill ,having to use two crutches but she too agrees its been a wonderful hotel to stay in many thanks Everyone Ger mcauliffe and myra o gorman kerry Ireland 🇮🇪 😊"

"This was my 6th visit to the hotel, and what can I say? If you're looking for a relaxing "vibe", a beautiful pool, a comfortable bed, wonderful staff and an amazing on-site restaurant-look no further! The Double Premium rooms are very pretty-ample socket/USB ports, a gorgeous view from the balcony (all balconies face the pool and get the sun in the afternoon), and the showers are reliable and powerful. There is ample space to hang clothing and ample shelves for folded clothing. And the A/C works well-you don't need to have it on full power/fan speed for it to cool your room. The hotel is across from the beach. It's a beautiful sandy beach. I stayed 7 nights and it was incredibly relaxing. I found that the other hotel guests were lovely. So many of the staff/team have been working at the hotel for years, and I always think it's a good sign when a hotel retains it's staff. It's also lovely when they remember you (and you them) when you arrive. It feels like you are arriving "home". I'd like to say thank you to all of the staff/team who made me feel so welcome (again): the reception team: Ana, Cristina, Micaela, Diana, Alejandro, and Diego. The team in the restaurant: Vanessa, Carlos and a couple of others who's names I cannot remember (sorry) and especially Paula, who was overseeing the service most evenings and works incredibly hard. The pool guys, and housekeeping team, etc were also helpful and kind. The entire Almirante team work very hard, and long hours. And finally, Cristina T-the sales manager, who is so lovely and is somebody who is always on hand to help sort out any issues. All in all, I had a fabulous week and look forward to another visit hopefully soon."

"I’ve been coming here on and off for over 20 years. This used to be a charming, rather unpretentious and good value hotel by the beach. Over the years it has made improvements such as better sound proofing in the rooms, nicer soaps/shower gel etc. It remained a nice place but in recent years it has hiked up prices enormously in the peak seasons and has attracted some rather snooty and unhelpful staff. The majority of staff are still very nice but there are one or two individuals who treat guests with complete distain these days. It’s unfortunate but true."
