"This is a lovely hotel but there is some stuff that let it down on the all inclusive side.
If we were to stay again which is a maybe we would go b&b or halfboard
Also find Angela the jet2 rep on the day you arrive or the following day. She is very helpful with giving you things to do, websites to use, info on the hotel and area. And always smiling.
The hotel location was great, redturants and bars just outside the hotel, the bus stop just outside the hotel (cheap and recommend to go to the old town and local towns) and the beach is on your door step. We went to the old town on the yellow bus what was beautiful and the sunset was amazing. We went to the waterpark on the number 2 bus what was good but we were done after 2hrs. We also went garrucha what is a local town and has great local restaurant and a beach. All of these places are under 30mins to get to.
The hotel style and look was very spainish with a great outside courtyard and balcony (looking at the beach) what was lovely to sit out in and eat or have a drink. The rooms were lovely and beds were ok but didnt get cleaned what was disappointing but I didnt complain what was my choice.
The all inclusive aspect wasnt the best on the grounds there was no pool bar open, you had to go the main bar to get your drinks what is 5 to 10 mins walk depending where you are. The ice creams werent available until someone complained and then on the last day they appeared, there were snacks available when the restaurant was closed but staff didnt let us know it was another family. But it was poor food, burgers, hot dogs and ham toastie with crisps.
The restaurant food was lovely but for the omelette and pancakes there was a long que so gave up on this. As only one person cooking them both. If there is no que jump in quick. Also the stir fry was beautiful but again the que could be long. There was a lack of choice for vegetarians as it was the same things and very carb overloaded what was a shame for one of us. Also the outside area to eat was small when they shut off the extended area. This was closed on how many people they had. But for me the inside isnt what I like as its to loud, fake lights and canteen feel. But thats personal preference. We all would say the restaurant staff were amazing, kind, helpful and very busy so if you dont get your drinks or they miss one of them off then ask them again and they will get them with a big sorry.
The bar staff were also nice and hard working but the ques again could be long as there was only one bar open.
The hotel is very large what we were surpised with as we didn't get this impression for the photos or reviews. This was ok but there were parts that let it down because of this. The pool area was upside down in regards to the kids pool being at the top of the complex and no pool bar open. But great pool for kids under 10. The main pool was nice but small for the size of the hotel. There was another pool inbetween but this was closed. Then there was a large area of grass inbetween the pools with sunbeds. There was a park, kids club what were good. There was table tennis but we had the buy the bat and balls. There were things going on in the day but this wasnt clear. I was told when I got there to look at the info when booking to click on the facilities and the headings which gives you more info. I never knew this but i do know and is helpful for the future and it did say the pool area bars are closed until the 16th june. The gym was small but very good. There was pool tables and air hockey in the courtyard what we used a lot( 1euro or 2 euros) and also bowling (around 3euros if i remember right) and arcade machines downstairs. Not all the machines worked so ask staff.
Also in the courtyard theres shops, supermarket, ice cream parlour and pizza what brought a nice feel to yiu being in a little spainish side street. And not to expensive either.
The hotel was very busy with groups of spainish medical students that use the hotel every May. Jet2 should of informed us of this and they didnt what is disappointing. The students were no issue just very overwhelming at times in the lobby and resturant areas as there were so many of them.
The area and hotel had a lot of spainish people staying what I think is a compliment to the area and brought a nice local feel to it.
The entertainment in the evening wasnt for us but there are bars in walking distance that play live music and having a walk on the beach front in the evening was nice.
Its a lovely hotel but just need to be aware its not a typical all inclusive and personally wouldn't do all inclusive again but worth looking at the other options."
