"Thus hotel is indeed excellent offering so much to family’s so there’s no need to honour of the hotel. However it isn’t ideal for older couples wanting to venture out, There’s no bars or restaurants in the close vicinity so a bus taxi or a 15+ minute walk is towards mojacar. There’s a bus stop outside with 3 services to 3 different locations One being the Old town pueblo the second being the new town and thirdly Garrucha, I enjoyed my stay but I won’t return to almaria,"

"This is a lovely, clean and modern hotel. Wonderful staff who are very helpful. My review will probably replicate what others have wrote but I couldn’t fault it. No tea/coffee facilities in your room and you have to pay for your drinks at lunch and dinner. If you don’t find that an issue, book as soon as possible. Get there on time as there was always a long queue! Rooms are spotless and spacious. Entertainment finishes around 11.30 pm but I never found that a problem. Copious pools and loungers for you to use. The beach is simply a few minutes away and you can hire a lounger for €7 per day. So much quieter than the busy pool area, and is a beautiful find. If you are lucky enough to stay at this hotel, I wish you a wonderful holiday 🏖️"

"This is a mixed bag from excellent to not so great. Firstly, the hotel is great, great pools, rooms and staff. The rooms are spacious with large comfortable beds and rooms are cleaned everyday if you wish. The pool area is great too, and a water park which is a minutes walk out of the main building, this was an excellent place for the kids and big kids alike with plenty of sun beds. This is manned with life guards for safety as are all pools. The food, and this is just my opinion as well as the rest of our party, it wasn’t the best, it was repetitive, and only warm, never hot, even when we were amongst the first to enter the dining area. The choices weren’t great either, and all dishes were for Spanish guests. The hotel , when we were there at the end of May, was full of Spaniards, I have nothing at all against Spaniards but everything was geared towards them (in my opinion) The day time activities around the pool as well as night time mini disco, which by the way, starts at 21:30, is all delivered in Spanish with no translation at all. Breakfast was served from 07:30 Lunchtime was from 13:00 Tea/Dinner was late, if you have youngsters, was from 20:00- 22-30. The beach is directly over one road, which was a good day out and the children loved it. There isn’t very much in the surrounding area, there’s an Argentinian restaurant, pizzeria and a bar within a half mile walk and Garrucha town approx a mile away, again with very limited bars or restaurants. We did visit Mojacar old town which is a 10-15 min taxi ride away at a cost of €50 round trip as there were 7 of us. This is a beautiful little, traditional town, with a few bars and restaurants which was worth a visit, it is high up which gives beautiful views as the sun is setting over the area. As I say, this had some good points but, we won’t be returning again."
