La Barracuda

"The most important thing to me is the cleanliness of a hotel. La Barracuda was spotlessly clean and my room was comfortable and a credit to the housekeeping team who visited every single day to maintain the high standard. The hotel has an enviable position right on the seafront and has gated access to the promenade with a proliferation of bars and restaurants nearby. My room overlooked the beach and was lovely and quiet There is a decent sized pool area with just about enough sunloungers available during our stay. It was good to see the lifeguard enforcing the no reservation rule on the sunbeds as anyone that tried to claim one then return 2 hours latet found out! La Barracuda is only 3* hotel but I would say that its the top end of 3* Im guessing its because do not supply beach towels of any description and sadly, theres no late check.out faciities available. So if youre on a late flight home... tough luck. We only stayed B&B and breakfast can only be described as adequate so I've no idea what the dinner was like. All in all we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at La Barracuda and would have no hesitation in staying there again."

"We where at this hotel 4 yrs ago and it was ok , but came again last week ,just left today 4th June and oh my what a difference, it is fabulous now we loved it and are booking for another visit soon, it has changed around the pool area and is fab, all areas in and out of hotel are spotless clean, the pool bar menu is great and not expensive with big portions, rooms are cleaned dailly ,bed changed twice in the week, we did b&b and no complaints, the coffee machine is the best one for taste I've came across in any other hotel, all staff are lovely ,Miguel on entertainment at pool is a lovely guy and works hard all day, I wish him well on his studies, pools fab and good size, plenty sunbeds but if your choosy be out early, we had room 807 with view of pool and marina it was beautiful to sit out on balcony and see all around , balcony's are big, roof top bar is fab at night they do lovely cocktails tho a bit pricey , cant wait to be back ,"
