"Firstly I will write the positives The hotel is spotless and the staff are all helpful and welcoming. We stayed in the front facing sea room and the room was comfortable and had great views and the air conditioning was great and very quiet. The hotel is in a great location right across from the beach and there are plenty shops, pubs and restaurants close by. The staff were wonderful and nothing was too much bother. The Mexican theme food night was very good indeed. The Negatives Lack of sunbeds as they were nearly all taken by 8.30 am. If you went much later than that then you struggled to get one with a parasol. The food was plentiful and there was lots of choices but it just wasn't very warm. They do however have a microwave to heat food up. The entertainment was ok but we were disappointed that the all inclusive bar above the Blue Horizon bar was not opened. The stage for the entertainment was inside which was not ideal as it was too hot to sit inside, it would have been better if it was outside where there was lots of seating. The lemonade was constantly like soda water in both bars and we had to keep telling the staff this. I personally was not impressed by the all inclusive drinks option. Conclusion We have previously stayed at the Melia along the road for bed and breakfast and thought we would give this place a try and go all inclusive which was a mistake, I just didn't feel it was worth it. It just sort of lacked the atmosphere we were looking for but it may be more suitable for families with young children. It was a lovely hotel but maybe just not for us. Also if you stay on the 4th floor just take notice that you can hear the pipes at night making constant noises like every 30 seconds which drove me crazy. I did go and speak to reception about this but they said I had to sit in my room to wait for Maintenance."

"Clean hotel & rooms, pool area also and hotel is in a good location. As someone who frequent all inclusive 4 star hotels several times a year, I can make an honest comparison. I upgraded to family suits £££ extra for 2 weeks (2 adults) (1) Drink not replaced in fridge in room during stay?. (2) Snack bar closed approximately 4.30pm next to pool therefore no snacks availability after this time. ( not all food available on AI either) (3) Not informed we could have had crisps or ice cream either in any corespondence or initial check in ? Felt your AI package lacked that of other competitors and upgrade room not worth the premium (as in other hotels entitles you to additional facilities and benefits.) On a positive staff are excellent, food is good especially if you like homemade soup (it's excellent)"
