Iberostar Waves Malaga Playa

"We spent an excellent week at this hotel about an hour from Malaga. The hotel is in the very pleasant small town of Torrox which is said to have one of the best microclimates in Europe. The weather certainly did not let us down nor did this excellent Iberostar hotel. We are particular fans of this group. The hotel is traditionally Spanish in design which is very refreshing. Rooms, public areas and the restaurants etc were well kept and spotless. The pool area was most attractive. Food was excellent with a wide buffet choice. Staff were friendly and attentive. All in all we had a very nice time and would recommend both the area and this hotel. We have now travelled to Iberostar hotels on about 6 or 7 occasions and have not been disappointed. Our one minor quibble is that as we travel with Jet 2 we do not receive any Iberostar reward points which seems somewhat unfair and is something which should perhaps be reconsidered"

"2nd visit to this hotel and was even better than the first visit. The staff go above and beyond to make your stay memorable and an especial mention goes to the reception staff who were all amazing when my husband took ill on our last day. They could not have done more for us if they tried. Having them check on you both face to face and via telephone even those that were not on duty at the time meant so much to myself and my husband making a stressful time much more manageable. We will definitely be back"
