Sol Port Cambrils

"Third visit to this wonderful hotel. Great location. Cambrils is a really lovely place. Lots of nice coffee shops, restaurants and good quality clothes and gift shops. We received a lovely welcome from the staff especially lovely Sara. So helpful and friendly. All the staff are lovely all smiling and always say hola! The rooms are spacious, we upgraded to a pool view, very comfortable beds, clean, great shower. Hospitality tray, good fridge. Decent hairdryer, free safe. Pool area is lovely as is the beach. It's a nice calm vibe and drinks aren't too expensive. We really enjoyed the food, breakfast was fabulous love the omlettetes and variety of juices and fruit. The chefs are very talented and produce some great food and the desserts are the best we have had in Spain. We will be back. Thank you 😘"

"Terrible! Ignorant staff on check-in, unhelpful, not friendly. Rooms and surrounds areas in need of massive refurb and utterly stunned that Melia has its name associated with this place. Would not recommend and the photos are not representative at all! Massively overpriced for a terrible place!"

"Stayed for a week in April in a very nice sized room, I'd asked for a quiet room away from lifts and road noise and it was even quieter than I'd hoped. Clean and easy, short walk to town bars and restaurants and right next to a big Aldi. Staff were really helpful, but not always immediately around in the bar area (there is a bell you can ring!). The core food was a bit samey - but nice - there were usually a few different dishes each night - including Catalan dishes which was great. Pretty quiet as it was just after Easter - so the hotel wasn't too busy. As mentioned in other reviews the hotel is really well set up for groups of cyclists and there was also a group of golfers in. But if you are looking for a more tourist style hotel - this might not be for you."
