Estival Park Almaris

"Went for 7 nights, wouldn't go back... in 7 days got our room cleaned 3 times all 3 times I had to ask for it to be cleaned, housekeeping was rude and started talking between them and shouting t me in spanish when I asked them to clean the room as it hadn't been done. Housekeeping excuse for not cleaning was we had the do not disturb sign on (it definitely wasnt) Reception had long ques all the time and had to keep waiting for English speaking staff which took longer, when asking staff whats around the area and if they recommended going anywhere particular they didn't seem like they wanted to help In the end we paid extra to be upgraded to a duplex room, standard room wasn't great at all, food was okay 6/10 breakfast was the best meal, but not much to do around the hotel as everything is quite far away, beach was close by and lovely and quiet! Had to pay extra for the roof top and gym and indoor pool."

"I write this review based purely on my experience and not that of others. I arrived here late Friday evening, hotel appeared modern and spacious but instantly I knew it wasn't going to be the relaxing stay ...(mainly due to the 11pm karaoke by some kids whom their parents were either drunk or deaf) Given keys to room 2175, also given a basic map like the one you get in a theme park, not very informative. Room 2175 is okay for someone whom dislikes the sun (doesn't get any) or likes looking at the side of the adjacent hotel (no more than 20ft away) or the back of the neighbouring stage. The room was spacious and clean, but lacked the tea making facilities shown in the management photos, just a gaping hole in a cupboard, with breakfast opening at 8am I was spitting feathers by that time. Breakfast was quite good, the usual selection, very well run restaurant... evening meal was a different story..food quality dropped dishes where confusing, meats tough, chaos reigned.. families let kids help themselves, ice cream on chips, donuts and beans etc, dropping stuff, spilling pop, staff constantly on the alert to clean up...not relaxing at all. I recommend an adults only half hour. Pool area during the day is a no go, again kids rule the area, not enough sunbeds, pools actually quite small and fill up quickly with the all inclusive not wanting to be more than 30 seconds from the only bar...which is inside? (External bar would be an idea.) Thankfully to escape a beach ball being bounced off your head there is a rooftop adults only pool, which is fabulous but you have to pay for it... really is well worth the 15 euro to get in. Evening entertainment i didn't see so cant comment, but what i can comment on is the lack of somewhere a bit more relaxing to take your drink to, there was no option that i could find, again the Mickey Mouse map was very basic it didn't show much. The hotel in general was okay, but not one I'll be returning to"
