"As a wheelchair user this hotel was great, we stayed in room 201 which has a adapted bathroom, the only downside I found about this bathroom is that the toilet is low but once I ask if anything could be done about it at reception with in an hour a extra toilet seat was brought to the room. There are plenty of ramps around the hotel and all the staff were happy to help me in all the restaurants. Thank you for a great week away"

"We had a wonderful holiday at Secrets Lanzarote hotel in May 2025 so thought we’d try Fuerteventura as it looked just as lovely. We were very wrong. The hotel is located opposite a huge derelict construction site and the surrounding buildings are covered in graffiti. We were told the nearest town was a 10 minute walk but it’s more like 25 minutes and there’s nowhere closer for essentials. The staff describe the hotel as ‘luxury’ but it’s far from luxurious and the rooms are adequate though dated and overpriced. The al a carte restaurants are ok but there are very few places available at each and they’re only open 2-3 times a week. One isn’t signposted and took us 20 minutes to find! This means that, as in our case, if you paid top price for the best room AND paid for all inclusive you have no choice but to dine in the worse buffet restaurant we’ve ever experienced. All this is made so much worse by the fact that when you do manage to get a table at an al a carte there are dozens of empty tables meaning we had to eat in the buffet purely due to poor staffing! Not what we expect for more than £500 a night! There were several bars and restaurants listed that were all closed so if the hotel only operates as advertised in July and August it should damn well say so and stop deceiving its customers. The spa was ok-ish but not 5-star and you’re made to wear a ridiculous paper shower cap in the pool! Why, when men with more body hair than gorillas were splashing about? The pool offers two types of sunbeds. Get the white ones closest to the pool edge as the others are as comfortable as something you’d find in a prison. There’s not much by way of sea swimming either as the good beaches are a taxi ride away unless you are confident enough to tackle 30m of rocks to get into the water. The entertainment was a real disappointment. Compared to its sister hotel in Lanzarote it resembled a very amateur experience. This too was made worse by the Rendezvous Bar. Pre mixed cocktails from an extremely limited menu, staff who forget orders and make you wait 30 minutes for a drink when there are fewer than 30 people present (more staffing issues) and the worse Bloody Mary we’ve had anywhere in the world. We won’t be recommending this hotel to anyone and our experience has put us off ever going to a Secrets hotel again."

"One of the BEST hotels we have ever stayed in. From the moment we walked into the hotel we were cared for, the staff were so attentive friendly and genuinely made our stay that amazing we didn’t ever want to leave! The hotel was just beautiful and I couldn’t believe how much was actually available to us. For a 4 night stay we didn’t really even need to leave the building! We loved the clean and tidy room, shower was amazing and so powerful! The housekeeping were amazing and did a great job each day keeping our room perfect for our return. The food, where do I begin! Amazing quality, the presentation was insane! I’m already missing every single aspect of this hotel, and can’t wait to come back again soon. To anyone contemplating booking, do it! You will not regret it. Thank you to all staff for making our stay a memorable one."
