"Very disappointing stay. The hotel is badly in need of updating, with many areas looking tired and worn out. The food was extremely repetitive, with very little variety throughout our stay. After a couple of days it felt like we were being served the same meals over and over again. One of the biggest issues was the number of birds around the snack bar areas. They were constantly swooping down, stealing food from plates and tables, and leaving droppings around the seating areas. It wasn't pleasant when trying to eat. There was also very little entertainment or activities available, making the holiday feel quite boring at times. The beach access was not ideal either. It is located at the bottom of a large number of steps, which could be difficult for anyone with mobility issues or for those who simply want easy access to the beach. The weather can obviously not be controlled by the hotel, but it was very windy during our stay and umbrellas around the pool could not be put up safely. If you wanted some shelter from the wind, you had to pay an extra €25 for a Balinese bed, which felt excessive. The only real positive was the stunning views, which were beautiful and probably the highlight of the stay. Overall, this hotel did not live up to expectations and I would not return or recommend it."

"Our last day at the hotel but would highly recommend for a relaxing stay and set in a beautiful location right by the sea. A special mention to Marco at reception who was so helpful and to Abdullah who worked tirelessly serving food morning, lunch and evening he always had a friendly smile! And to the lovely waitress Antila who was so kind they are an asset to the hotel and the Princess group. All of the staff worked so hard and always had time to say hello and the property is kept spotless. There is a good variety of food and the La Rocha restaurant was a lovely addition for burgers, salads and hot dogs which we went to on the way back from the gorgeous beach. We would definitely recommend this hotel and will be returning we were staying in block 8 and had the most beautiful sea view. Thank you to all of the staff for making our stay a memorable one 🙂"

"Well this was a last minute booking as we needed a break and the reviews were pretty good. Firstly I have to say a big thank you to the staff, particularly Marketa who helped Deb with her Coeliac and gluten intolerance by providing choices separately cooked by the kitchen staff for lunch and dinner each day, thank you all for your attentive and responsible actions. However on 2 occasions with Debs food her pizza was raw and on her last meal today there was broken glass in the chicken, which we brought to their attention. They said it was rock salt but it definitely was not! The food here is manageable but repetitive and not a great deal of choice and the main buffet restraint is like a cattle market each sitting, people pushing in and with no patience. Not our scene. The pool areas are good however this island is notoriously windy and most of the time you cannot put up the umbrella due to the high winds. The adult only pool has a swim up bar but the pool is so cold and combined with the wind it's freezing. Be warned there are no umbrellas at the adult pool so you will get burned. The sun is deceiving and lots of people burned. The wooden flooring is lethal, loose and dangerous. These need addressing urgently. The worst thing is the lack of evening entertainment. They do have something on each night around 9pm outside for an hour but the seating is limited and it's freezing due to the wind chill. We have never been so bored on a holiday. Lots of kids running around so expect noise. I would not recommend here if you're looking for something to do at night. Everyone congregated in the reception bar area and looked bored. The rooms are tired and dated but inherent being refurbished later this year. Would we come back.....No"
