Gloria Palace Amadores Thalasso and Hotel

"Last day of our family holiday. We are regular visitors to this hotel and this time the improvements are clear - 1) more salad options at all meal times 2) The cleaner Yesica was the best we have had at this hotel ! Thank you 3) The rooms have been redecorated- they look amazing 4) the women on the reception are very kind and helpful - others need to smile more especially the men managers who stand in the back ground - it’s very off putting 5) The drink selection all inclusive is excellent 👍🏻 once you work out the menu options - anything with a star next to it ! 6) kids disco so good - my children love it 🥰 Atmosphere - The hotel was very quiet- where have all the guests gone 🤔 have they gone to the next hotel Riu because of the spa and gym being renovated? Possible ……. The walk up from the beach is difficult but not impossible and there is a bus but you can’t get a return until 15.30 so you would miss the lunch slot at 13:00 taxi is 4-5 euro and they take cards. I’m looking forward to seeing the new spa next time and hopefully the lift to the beach will be fixed. It’s a great hotel and they really want to please 🏝️ Thank you to all the team 🫶🏻"

"This was our 1st & definitely not our last visit to Gran Canaria The hotel was amazing, Clean, friendly & very nice staff who were so helpful. Our room was perfect really big room, bathroom had a walk in shower & a bath, there were towel robes for us plus slippers, the bed was very comfortable & clean linen & towels every day if you needed them. The hotel provided towels for the sun beds & beach no need at all to bring your own. There was poolside entertainment if you wanted to participate in it & the infinity pool was the star attraction so clean & in the evening it was lit up & great for getting photos especially with the beautiful beach in the background. We were B&B the breakfasts had something for everyone..We would highly recommended this hotel."

"Booked for a family holiday with the children and grandchildren. The hotel has everything young children could want, with a play park, kids water play area and kids club. The infinity pool was lovely and the views are amazing over looking the sea. Rooms were massive and balcony was the largest we have ever had, huge. There is entertainment every evening for the kids first then the adults and it was excellent. Staff were lovely apart from a grumpy young woman on reception who was very rude but we wouldn’t let her spoil our holiday. We went half board as all inclusive was very expensive through the travel agent, however just to mention we got all inclusive through the hotel when we got there and it was a great deal at half the price."
