"Hotel is lovely ,very clean rooms and all around hotel ,food is good only down fall is for some reason not being allowed to play with a ball in the pool or drink while sat with your feet in the pool ,and not allowed inflatables in the pool either ,only hotel I’ve been to where this stuff is not allowed ,but the beach is right outside so not too much of an issue just a bit strange ,but all around a nice place to visit"

"Wow!! My partner and I (21 and 23) have just returned from the most beautiful week away! I had my birthday out here and it was the best choice ever! Hotel is beautiful, clean and staff are super attentive, I have OCD so always a worry going to a new hotel and honestly this place was amazing, food was always cooked and always options for 2 picky eaters as well. Don’t believe all the poor reviews as this was genuinely the best holiday we have been on, we did upgrade before we went to the ecsenaia and definitely recommend this for the bottled water aspect as well as we feel better drinking from bottles. Cocktails weren’t the best but my partner doesn’t drink and i am not a drinker but fancied trying a few, not ideal but could be the fact i haven’t drank in years now so not used to alcohol taste! As mentioned earlier food was amazing, always options and hot and cooked which was amazing after reading reviews. The cleanliness of all parts of the hotel was amazing. The beach is a short walk away and we loved a dip in the sea! Of an evening we would have a wander down outside and watch the sunset which was beautiful and watch some entertainment or just go back to the room, chill and watch tv as there was a couple of UK channels which was fab! for a couple in our 20s we had everything we needed, pool was amazing and clean! the sunloungers for gold area was really nice for us as well! the one restaurant wasn’t to my taste but my partner loved it… i am fussy, i enjoyed my meal but wouldn’t rush back. everyone is friendly and nice. lifts are fast as we were on 11th floor (top floor) so needed the lift!! the view from the room was a money cannot buy view and amazing. Value for money was amazing and i would rate the hotel a 5 star not 4 star- coming from someone with ocd this is a big thing! no outside noise effected our sleep which was amazing! for our first holiday this was amazing and if we return to gran caneria we will definitely be back!"

"Everything was perfect. The best hotel in Grancaneria , rooms were very clean, and the food was brilliant. However, the staff were always moody. If you asked them for anything, it felt like you were asking for the world. The girls in the animation team were very childish. Children are children — but if they behaved in a normal playful way, the staff would come over and say that if they continued, they wouldn’t be allowed to come back. They even gave a particular child dirty looks every time the child walked past. Please train them Very unprofessional"
