"We had stayed here before when it was called the Tampico apartments so we were excited to see the refurbishment. We weren’t disappointed the apartment building looked modern and fresh. Unfortunately we were delayed arriving but were greeted at reception by a friendly night attendant who was happy to show us to our room helping with our bags. On entering our room we were very pleasantly impressed with the deco space and view from our excellent balcony which was a double. The bathroom was spacious modern with a good size shower. There’s aircon in the living area and bedroom perfect. Our room was cleaned just about every day and clean towels on tap. The block is quite and relaxing with good pool deck and while we’re were there no sunbed wars. There’s a bar/cafe by the pool which serves snacks and meals cold and hot drinks at extra cost but great value. The pizzas were top notch. The apartments sit half way up the hillside from the main centres 103 steps up which is a great workout. The staff are friendly and very helpful. It’s not a big block so never gets crowded or noisy adults only"

"As returning guests to Doña Elvira Servatur, my partner and I feel it is important to share our own experience. We have visited year after year, and one of the reasons we keep coming back is the friendly service provided by Paul and Ellie at the pool bar and restaurant. Throughout our stays, we have always found them to be polite, welcoming, professional, and hardworking. It should also be noted that the rule regarding outside food and drinks is a hotel policy, not something created by Paul or Ellie personally. They are simply carrying out the rules set by the hotel, as any member of staff would be expected to do. We were surprised to read comments suggesting poor hygiene or aggressive behaviour, as these claims do not reflect anything we have witnessed. On the contrary, we have consistently seen high standards of cleanliness and excellent customer service.I also find it difficult to understand how anyone can make detailed comments about the quality of the food if they have not actually eaten at the restaurant. In our experience, the food has always been freshly prepared, well presented, and very enjoyable. Reviews are most helpful when they are based on firsthand experience rather than assumptions. The food is also very good and reasonably priced. Personally, I can highly recommend the pizzas, burgers, and gambas al ajillo, all of which we have enjoyed during our stay. The reception team also deserve recognition, as they are always friendly, helpful, and make guests feel welcome from the moment they arrive. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but it is important that reviews are fair and accurate, as negative comments can have a real impact on people who work hard to provide a good service. We are currently still enjoying our holiday in Puerto Rico and continue to appreciate the food, drinks, and hospitality provided by Paul, Ellie, and the rest of the team. Thank you."
