THB Los Molinos

"The hotel is really well located for a quick ‘hop’ to and from the airport. Check in was quick and easy. We booked 2 rooms, one with a sea view and the other a street view. Forget the street view, pay the money and get a sea view, they are worlds apart. The air conditioning on the street view room was so, so bad, we complained but the night staff were very unhelpful. The street view room was in need of an upgrade and a lick of paint. Such a shame as the rest of the hotel was fine, breakfast was amazing with pretty much everything you could think of. Walkable into the old town for dinners, shopping etc. Staff are happy to call you a taxi if you want to go anywhere further. All in all good, just make the air conditioning work properly or at least offer solutions rather. I would return but give the street view rooms a miss"

"Have stayed at Los molinos three times now and can't wait to return. If you read my previous review of the hotel then sorry for repeating myself! Very peaceful, relaxing hotel in a fabulous location. Close enough to the old town and the beach. Very friendly, helpful staff and great food and drinks in the pool side bar. Short walk to lots of restaurants along the beach front or just go into Mitch's bar next door. Shop and cafe bar across the street. Had bed and breakfast which was great the first time but again this time we stayed in the apartment across the street. Very clean and well looked after in fact it looked brand new inside. Can't wait to go back."

"Please don't stay in this hotel, as it was the worst experience I have ever had. On day 0, when I checked into my room, the AC and fan were not working. When I complained to the front desk, they said it would be fixed the next day when the technician arrived, and I had to stay in the lobby all night. When I complained to the hotel manager, she just said 'Sorry' and mentioned that this can happen in some scenarios and they couldn't help much. Very rude customer service and behavior. So please avoid stay in this hotel, there are many hotel near to beach which is far better than this."
