"My husband and I have just returned from a lovely holiday and would definitely recommend it.
The shared transfer from the airport was very tolerable at around 45 minutes, so a direct transfer would likely be no more than 30 minutes. The complex itself is beautiful, with lots of white buildings that make it feel much more luxurious and relaxed than staying in a high-rise hotel block.
We were located right by the main restaurant and the Hippie Bar, where there was live evening entertainment, so we didn’t have far to walk at all. The pool was around a 5-minute walk from our room. The pool area was lovely, although it did get busy. At the start of the holiday, some people were reserving sunbeds very early, but after a few complaints this was stopped, which made it much fairer. We had no trouble getting sunbeds, and there were also extra beds just around the corner from the main pool area.
We stayed all-inclusive. The beer was San Miguel, with wine, soft drinks and self-serve water also available. The food was a little limited at times, but we never struggled to find something to eat each evening. There was plenty of salad, plus a fresh cooking station serving eggs in the mornings and meats or pasta in the evenings. There was also a choice of indoor or outdoor seating, which was nice. The live evening entertainment at the bar was varied and really enjoyable.
One of the highlights was the Hippie Market on Wednesday, which was amazing. We hadn’t realised it was all around the complex, so it was a great surprise to have it right on our doorstep. It ran from 10am to 6pm and did get very busy, as people travel from all over to visit, but it was such a lovely market and well worth experiencing.
Our room was very clean, although on the smaller side, with a comfortable queen-sized bed. We upgraded to a private terrace, which was definitely worth it for the extra outdoor space, as otherwise the room may have felt a little small. We did have an ant problem outside our room one evening, but reception sent someone immediately and it was sorted quickly. We also found we needed to keep the air conditioning on constantly, otherwise a slight drain smell lingered in the room.
We walked to Es Canar one day, where there were lots of shops and cafés. We really enjoyed the area, especially as it felt quiet and relaxed.
Overall, we had a great holiday and would definitely recommend it."
