Hotel LIVVO Volcan Lanzarote

"I’ve recently returned from another stay at the Hotel LIVVO Volcán, and it reminded me exactly why I keep choosing this place. The atmosphere is calm, the setting is beautiful, and the staff continue to be the hotel’s greatest strength. Check‑in was smooth and friendly, and the welcome from the team set the tone for the whole stay. There’s something genuinely warm about the service here — nothing feels forced, and everyone seems happy to help. I stayed in a Club room again, and it was spotless, comfortable, and kept immaculate throughout my visit. Waking up to the marina and sea views never gets old. The housekeeping team were lovely whenever I saw them. One of the highlights for me is the Club breakfast area and the Club terrace. The team of ladies who run it are outstanding — attentive, friendly, and incredibly professional. They’ve been there for years, and it was genuinely nice to see the same familiar faces again. Their consistency and warmth really add something special to the Club experience. I also had the chance to dine at the Rubicon Restaurant, which was included for one night with my stay. The staff there were superb, and the food was very tasty — a really enjoyable change of pace from the main restaurant. Dinner in the main buffet was busy at times, but I was always seated straight away. The variety meant I could mix things up each evening, and the cooking stations were a great touch. The restaurant staff were consistently friendly and efficient, which made the whole experience relaxed and enjoyable. As for the Lanzarote breeze — some people see it as a negative, but I found it a blessing. With the heat and humidity, that gentle wind made the pool areas incredibly comfortable. The Club terrace has fantastic views across to the neighbouring islands, and it’s a perfect spot to unwind. The marina is just a short walk away if you want a change of scenery, but the hotel has everything you need if you prefer to stay within the complex. Overall, another excellent stay. The familiar faces, the service, and the atmosphere keep drawing me back. I’ll definitely be returning."

"Wonderful hotel and I will definitely be returning. Location was great: a 2 minute walk to the Marina Rubicon and it's shops and restaurants, 5 minutes walk to the Rubicon shopping centre. It's a chilled place, which you grasp as soon as you walk through the hotel entrance with Gregorian choir music playing. This is definitely not a party hotel: if that's your vibe you should look elsewhere. If, like me, you want somewhere calm and serene, this LIVVO is for you. My room was on the 5th floor in the Club Volcan area, with great sea views: double bed, lovely bathroom, sofa and armchairs, huge TV on the wall, balcony overlooking the harbour. The whole hotel was spotlessly clean, and very quiet. The pools and outdoor areas were wonderful, but the undoubted best bit was the pool, bar and hot tub section on the Club Volcan terrace where I spent most of my time. Just perfect. I stayed half board. Lots of breakfast options in the buffet restaurant, and really great coffee. The evening meals were themed and different each night, and real tasty. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. A particularly nice touch was being given a free meal in my room on the first night as my arrival was delayed (by ESS / late transfer). I've stayed in many hotels in the Canaries. For me, this one was the best of the lot. Can't wait to go back!"

"This hotel is amazing, it’s located on the beautiful Marina Rubicon full of great restaurants. If you’re looking for a peaceful holiday, this is the hotel to go to , no sunbed wars here. There are a lot quite a lot of stairs, so it might not be the place for you if you have mobility issues, that said their are plenty of lifts. It’s so peaceful, quiet, Immaculately clean and all the rooms are large and spacious most have separate toilet and bathroom and sitting area with tea tray and safe included. The restaurant is fab and the staff are very pleasant and professional. Been going here for several years and it improves year on year, even though we didn’t think it needed improving."
