Lanzarote Village Hotel

"This was our second visit to Lanzarote. On our previous trip, we stayed in Playa Blanca, but this time we decided to try a different area and booked Hotel Lanzarote Village. We were not disappointed. Check-in was quick and straightforward, and our room was clean and tidy on arrival. Breakfast was what you would expect from an all-inclusive hotel, with a good selection of both cooked and continental options. The pool bar was excellent, offering a variety of dishes made to order. We thought this was a great touch, as many hotels prepare food in advance and leave it sitting out. Lunch was a typical all-inclusive buffet with plenty of choice, including freshly cooked meat and fish stations. Dinner was similar, with a good variety available each evening. The reception staff were friendly and welcoming, and the restaurant staff were also excellent. The only slight negative was one member of the pool bar team who seemed much more chatty and attentive towards female guests than others. We only visited the lobby bar once; it was perfectly fine, but nothing particularly memorable. The housekeeping staff were superb. Our room was cleaned every day, and fresh towels were provided daily, which was a nice touch. The pool area was spotless, and the hotel enforced a no-food policy outside the restaurant areas, although some inconsiderate guests ignored this and occasionally left a mess behind. We never had any trouble getting sunbeds, although I was usually up early each morning! The pool was closed on one occasion after a child had an accident in it, but this was dealt with promptly by the staff. The hotel grounds were immaculate and very well maintained throughout our stay. Overall, we had a fantastic holiday at a great hotel. The staff work hard to keep everything clean, organised, and welcoming. We would happily return in the future and would recommend Hotel Lanzarote Village to anyone visiting Lanzarote."
