"We stayed as a family of four - the rooms are spacious, clean and well laid out. Beds were very comfortable. The hotel looks very modern and well invested. The location was great a few minutes walk to a Metro station and you’re in the city centre in around 20 mins. There’s a supermarket very close to the hotel too. The only issues we had is that check in took a long time - they did a huge amount of typing on the computer and conferring with colleagues before we could get our key. Also we booked knowing the hotel had air con but this never worked and reception told us it only works during the day. The street outside is too noisy to leave windows open at night. Finally the room was clean but the hand soap was empty on arrival and wasn’t topped up for the duration of our stay, however the was shower gel. Overall I’d recommend this hotel due to the cleanliness, spacious rooms and convenient location."

"1.⁠ ⁠Was told my room was ready but it would be £20 to check in two hours early. Would not charge it to the room. 2.⁠ ⁠⁠Hotel Wifi pop up to log in went to a blank page. Reception could only repeat the username and password and send a maintenance man up who thought his job was to fix my tv. Did not want me to come down and show them the problem. 3.⁠ ⁠⁠Luckily their conference wifi was wide open. 4.⁠ ⁠⁠Sockets across entire room were deeply recessed so square adapter would not fit. 5.⁠ ⁠⁠Adapter could be borrowed in reception, but only with 5 euro cash deposit. Nearest ATM quite far away. Receptionist only told me to walk right. 5 euro fee to withdraw money. 6.⁠ ⁠⁠No toilet brush. 7.⁠ ⁠Mini-bar made dripping noise all night. Air conditioning rattles when in use."

"My first night in Madrid was at the Hotel Ilunion Suites Madrid. While the room was big, I was given twin beds when I specifically requested a double bed. In the bathroom, there were 4 very long hairs in 4 different places. These were clearly not my hairs. A disappointing start to my vacation."
