Globales Cala Bona Suites

"I have just returned from a weeks holiday. The hotel was fantastic. The hotel was spotlessly clean and the staff were friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them.The room was spacious with a lounge with a tv plus a bedroom with another large tv, there was a good amount of wardrobe space with shelves ,my only niggle was there was no drawers .The food was hot well cooked with plenty of choice there was entertainment a few nights .The hotel is located in a great spot a few minutes walk from the beach shops and bars.The swimming pool is a good size but unfortunately if you want a sunbed you have to go with everyone else at 7.30 am as people like to put towels on them then not use them till later even though there are notices telling you not to and they will be removed which they aren't but should be. I would definitely go back to this hotel again and would recommend it ."

"We recently stayed at Globales in Cala Bona and overall had a pleasant experience, although there were some positives and negatives worth mentioning. The standout feature of this hotel is the staff. Every member of the team we encountered was friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. The rooms were also excellent—spacious, modern, very clean, and well maintained throughout our stay. The location is another strong point, being just a short walk from the beach, restaurants, bars, and local shops, making it easy to explore Cala Bona without needing transport. On the downside, the hotel lacked atmosphere during our stay. There was very little entertainment available, and what was offered was quite limited. Families with young children may find there isn’t enough to keep kids entertained, so I wouldn’t describe it as an ideal family-focused hotel. The food was average. There was enough variety to find something to eat, but it wasn’t particularly memorable. Because of this, I wouldn’t recommend paying extra for the all-inclusive package, especially given the number of nearby restaurants and cafés within walking distance. One thing to be aware of is that the room safe comes at an additional cost of around €70 for a week’s stay, which felt quite expensive. Overall, if you’re looking for a clean, comfortable hotel in a great location with excellent staff, this is a solid choice. However, if you’re seeking lively entertainment, a vibrant atmosphere, or plenty of activities for children, you may want to consider other options."

"The hotel had a great location, just a street from the seafront, and the staff were polite. However, the half-board arrangement was disappointing—you had to pay extra for any drinks at dinner, only water was included with half-board!. The whole complicated classist wristband system is a joke and the hotel should reassess and put the guest's enjoyment first, not upsell them a beverage with their dinner. The single lift (in the whole place) was slow and small, making it hard for those with mobility issues—especially when it was out of service. Twice we were told we would have to wait to go up to our room while they waited for an engineer. Other things we didn't like: no poolside toilet, signs were an afterthought, and an incident where room upgrades were given when we arrived and then taken away in front of us because it was an error. It’s a fairly friendly place but could use modernization. Overall, it’s not the best value for money, and I’d recommend looking elsewhere."
