Hotel Sur

"Firstly the fact this hotel is two star rated shouldn’t stop you from visiting. The staff are all friendly and welcoming. The hotel is a bit dated but has pretty much everything you need. It’s spotlessly clean - rooms are cleaned and towels changed 6 days a week (every day except Sunday). The WiFi works everywhere - we’re on the 4th floor and had no issues getting a signal. Food is fine - breakfast is as good as any I’ve had in recent visits to 4 star hotels and dinner was good also. We never struggled for choice despite it being limited compared to some hotels. You have to clear your own tables - wow that takes 20 seconds. Pool area was a very reasonable size for the size of hotel and also spotlessly clean. Bar was fantastic, a pint of Cruzcampo and a large Smirnoff and mixer was about €10-11 and the evening entertainment was great. The guests at the neighbouring 4 star hotels were either coming over or joining in from their balconies. The bar staff were all fantastic as well. Location is amazing - a five minute walk to Cala Bona marina and all the bars and restaurants and about a fifteen minute (steady) walk to Cala Millor beach - which is stunning!! Would we go again? Absolutely!!!"

"Amazing holiday . Lovely hotel . Was a bit concerned how noisy it was when we arrived at 11.30 pm as there was entertainment/ music from the bar .but it soon went off .hotel staff are lovely helpful and really friendly.rooms even though they are basic they were enough for us ( maybe a bit more storage but we managed) cleaning staff do a marvellous job .bar staff are great .breakfast is basic but good and plenty of it Hotel is in a fabulous location."
