Sa Tanqueta de Fornalutx

"We have visited Majorca multiple times but this was our first visit to Fornaluxt and we chose Sa Tanqueta because we could walk to lots of local restaurants, the fantastic views, and it had parking! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay again. Before and during our stay the staff were so friendly and helpful and we couldn't have had a nicer welcome. Our room and the hotel overall was spotlessly clean and the views over the mountains were beautiful. If we'd have been staying longer we would have used our kitchenette to eat on our balcony a couple of times, but as we only had 3 nights we chose to eat at 3 local restaurants which were all excellent and reasonably priced. There was lots to choose from at breakfast and an honesty bar for drinks, although we also bought wine from the local supermarket as we had a fridge. The local bus service was perfect for us and we visited Port de Soller one day (I think it was around 3 euros return) and we could have gone further afield if we'd wanted. You can also walk to Soller and neighbouring villages which we will definitely do next time. Overall highly recommended"

"Chilled and child free boutique style destination was what the doctor ordered. Immaculate views and stylish quaint buildings. Lovely large sized rooms in the apartment with a terrace and courtyard. The bathrooms were very clean and modern and the bedrooms were cleaned daily. The hotel staff were excellent, friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was buffet style but with fresh “ to order “ eggs . The pool is very clean but a little cold…the hot tub is a great addition and the honesty bars were a great idea. The internet connection was also top notch. The photos don’t do it justice though…..gorgeous hotel and with a very safe feel as well."

"A wonderful hotel, the very best with spectacular view over the hills. Very professional and friendly hotel managers and staff. Perfect cleaning and excellent large rooms. Great pool overlooking the mountains. Private parking for guests. Met several returning guests."
