Hilton Mallorca Galatzo

"We visited for 4 nights this week, I’ll be honest, the hotel is lovely but I have some reservations. Service is slack, we weren’t given our 2pm check in time , It was 4pm, and that was only because we asked 3 times. Our booking said check in early at 2 and after an early morning flight with baggage , we would have really liked our room to be ready so we could have made use of our first day. Instead it was sort of wasted while we hung around. Our reservation was for a better room than we were given , but thats something I’ll take up with the holiday provider. The receptionist said the hotel was fully booked but it clearly wasn’t, it was quiet during our stay and thats where we felt service was lacking. Our guest information sheet said 10am -10:15 for the Shuttle to the town, we waited promptly at 10 in the reception and at 10:03 I asked when the shuttle will leave , the receptionist advised it already left. By the time we got a taxi at 10:12 we saw the shuttle arrive back at the hotel. There’s no chance it left on time to be back a mere 12 mins later, so that annoyed me. The adults area / pool wasn’t open during our stay and I feel for a Hilton to not have all services available was a let down. Not sure we would stay again unfortunately!"

"Fantastic service and very helpful and enthusiastic reception staff. Javi and Pau, were very helpful. Huge hotel with spectacular views, makes for a perfect peaceful retreat. The pool as relaxed with nice music, easy to get a bed. The pool bar was very cool with friendly staff and delicious food! There was an event on that closed part of the hotel but it didn’t impact our stay too much. The room was spotless! Spoke briefly to housekeeping (Nelly I think) who was very friendly and welcoming. Overall , a very beautiful and great hotel."
