Grupotel Los Principes Apartments

"I stayed at this hotel for one night and had a ground-floor room with a living area and a small kitchen, which was very comfortable for families traveling with children. The hotel grounds are very large, although a bit spread out. There are plenty of shaded areas under the trees if you prefer to avoid the sun, and there are also umbrellas available around the pool. However, many of them are reserved early in the morning by guests who do not arrive until around noon, which does not seem very fair. The room was clean, and the staff at the bar and spa were very friendly and helpful. The spa was excellent and featured numerous hydro-massage facilities that made the stay especially relaxing. Since this is part of the hotel chain's concept, the spa experience is a major advantage. There were a couple of minor issues in the room. The safe was not working, although I assume its use may require an additional charge. Also, the balcony door was secured with a wooden board, and without it the door could not be properly closed, which seemed a bit unusual. For kids there is a very small area so they might be bored unless they enjoy building sand castles and play “ping-pong” The reception service was satisfactory but nothing particularly memorable. Breakfast was average, with a reasonable selection but nothing outstanding. I did not have dinner at the hotel, so I cannot comment on the evening meals. One pleasant surprise was the pool bar, where the staff were very generous with the wine and cava servings. This hotel is occupied by Germans ! Overall, this is a nice, simple hotel that is well suited for a family vacation, especially for those looking to enjoy the spa facilities."

"I had a lovely stay at the Grupotel Los Principes. The staff were so helpful and friendly. The room was good and clean. I liked the allocation of a table in the restaurant for the duration of the stay. The food was excellent and varied. I did opt for a sunbed on the beach as less crowded than the gardens. The Spa was excellent. Overall a lovely relaxing holiday."

"This is our 9th consecutive visit to Los Príncipes. My old work colleague and I cycle Spring and Autumn and the service from Huerzeler, the attached bike station, is excellent - as is the hotel. Visiting Los Principes is like going home, the hotel has everything you need and I’m sure most of the hotels in plays de muro are the same; where los principes excels is in the friendliness and professionalism of the staff. As I said we have been visiting 2 or 3 times a year since 2021 and all the original staff are still there - evidence of a happy hotel. Can’t wait to return in April 26.
