Hotel Oleander

"Balcony door can not be locked only shutted. Hopefuly none of your neighbour try to visit your room. You can not have a towel to rent for money saying hygenic reason, well one of our fresh towel looks horrible stained multiple times. How could they missed it? No clue. Pool close at 18.00 you also need to leave the area and they lock the fence. Restaurant, the lady who not speak english tell you off rudely if you walking out with one piece of plum even you started to eat already and they discriminat peoples who smoking or vaping as you can not have your coffee outside with your vape under breakfast. You pay for half board but doesnt matter. The way how they jump on you is rude. I have more than 7 years experience with a hotel more then 700 customer for breakfast and lunch ... ect but even me or my collegurs never hit this tone and rudness with any of our customer. That lady show arrogance and rudness, making face. Definitely not for customer service person. You can not have kettle as they dont have. The lift door is shut on you. Be careful as it is powerfull and the sensor not working properly. Check in went kind of slow and staff looks not sure they knows what are they have to do. It is visible they dont want to put any effort to pleased customers, even that is just kindness and bit care with attention for details. If you want something basic accomodation, this is for you. If you want feel valued and cared dont choose this. I highly not recommanded."

"THE WORST HOTEL EVER. It is indeed cheap, but believe me you don t want to spend any eur here. Racist people, very rude, they do not talk at all in english, ( there is only one guy at the bar - the lifeguard- he is the only one that is kind enough to talk normal to us) , they do not even bother to answer the questions we ask. At recepetion they acted bothered because we dared to ask them a question. They do not give you a cup of coffee to go outside and smoke one cogarette. IN THE EVENING THEY DO NOT OFFER YOU ANY GLASS OF WATER ( although is half board). The fire alarm does not work!!!! The staff at the reception started yelling at eachother when they found out that the extinguisher was used at the last floor, and they had no idea what to do. Luckily , there was not a big fire, but god forbid of there is an actual fire and the alarm does not work. You can easily die in here as they don t even bother checking the safwty of the hotel. God forbid to ask them to talk on english because they start swearing in spanish.. Overall, it is i think the worst hotel i have ever been to. PLEASE FOR THE SAKE OF YOUR MONEY DO NOT GO THERE"

"This is a 3 stars hotel with lots of issues that you probably don't want to spend your valuable vacation to experience. Here are just some of the bad things. * Bugs in hotel room * Lots of ants in the pool area * Noise from neighbor's rooms because the fundamental construction is old and has bad isolation. You can hear sounds when somebody open/close wardrobe. They have renovated for some years ago, but it seems mostly on the surface. * At night, from your hotel room, you can hear sounds from planes landing and departing Mallorca. * My son pushed on a switch beside my bed to turn on the light and suddenly electricity went off on our room and several neighbor's room on the same floor. So dangerous for kids. We were so afraid something could have happened to him. * You must pay additional to lock your things in a safe. Some hotels in Spain offer this free of charge * Elevator is super small. * Staff at reception does not speak fluent English. It is so difficult to understand since most of them speaks german. You might meet one or two that can speak English if you are lucky. * There are some variations on food every day. Keep in mind that some of it is poorly prepared that might cause you stomach problem. Be aware of your choices. * Every time you get a new plate, be sure that it is clean. We saw many times that it was wet, sometimes with leftover food that was not completely washed yet. * Now for one of the biggest bad: Disloyal employees that will try to get more money out of you when they ask you to buy water/soda/drinks in dinner time. We met a man who did this with us. On our first day he overcharged us. On our last day, I have paid for 2 sodas. I gave the money to him, and few minutes later he came back with his colleague and yelled at me that I did not pay. They were rude and loud. Everybody in my table saw that I have paid. I said, if you want money, just say so, but let my family have a good vacation. Don’t yell at your hotel guest. Yet, I gave this guy tips every day. Be aware that staff can scam you and ruin your food experience because they have some internal problem with handling money. I choose to put this in my review to let management know."
