Puerto Azul Suite Hotel

"A fantastic hotel perfect for a few days in a gorgeous resort. We went with older teenagers so I can’t speak for those with younger kids but we had a great time. We had 3rd floor rooms with great views of the mountains,lovely and sunny in the afternoons and early evening. The rooms were clean and well maintained with comfortable beds and a brilliant shower. The staff in the restaurant and bar were absolutely amazing. Their service was first rate and the team in the restaurant couldn’t be faulted. The food was really good - a wide variety of everything at breakfast - I fail to see how you could walk away saying there was nothing that you could eat as there was so much choice. The evening meals were also lovely - great choice and really good quality. The evening entertainment was varied and catered for all ages . I think we will be back"

"When we first arrived the first day seemed nice and pleasant after day 2 the lift broke we have a small child and the pram and we where on floor 3 the top floor when asked at reception about the lift being fixed we where told it was the technicians day off the following day arrived and still no repair to the lift day 3 of having no lift and I went back to reception to ask again and was told it will be fixed this afternoon so that was 3 days with no lift I even had to help and elderly couple down the stairs with their bags bless them. Our tv was constantly lagging and jumping about so even our little one couldn’t watch any CBeebies so we used our phones the rooms for a family of 5 in my opinion are far to small you have the living room a bathroom and 1 bedroom there isn’t a kitchen area it’s basically a block of wood at one end with a kettle looks like a a cheap unappealing media wall. The pool for the baby’s is over run by lots of kids with balls and floaters so if you have a baby always watch out for balls whizzing past your heads the hotel manager walks about in his suit he looks about 90 years old and thinks he’s running a 5 star business food was lovely won’t be going back might be for some people but in my over all option if you asked me if this is a family welcoming hotel my answer unfortunately is no definitely not."

"Just had a weeks stay at this hotel overall was a very nice stay. The hotel is very clean and the maids came everyday. The food was very nice and lots to choose from. The only downfall was there is no children cerial at breakfast. We was a family of 5 with a young baby and found the room to be very tight spaced for us all. We was on the 3rd floor and can only fit 2 people in the very small lift. There is a small play area for children which is nice but in my opinion there should be a canopy over it as it’s in the sun all day and not good for young children also should have a gate on it to keep them from running out. All the staff at the hotel were lovely and always helpful. Location is great nice and quiet and right near the beach."
