Protur Palmeras Playa Hotel

"This hotel is well worth a visit, not only for the building which is well designed and kept in a great condition but also for the staff and the quality of the food which are both exceptional. There was nightly entertainment on the stage area and daily activities provided by the hard working animation team who do a great job. We are looking to return later in the year."

"Stayed for a week following cruise. The good points. 1) Great location. 2) Great staff. 3) Entertainment decent. 4) Rooms large, comfortable and functional. 5) Food very good, (lots of choice +2 microwaves!) Cannot fault anything so far. The not so good points. 1) Noisy dining room due to screeching chairs, (suggest inexpensive, soft adhesive pads?) 2) To the lovely girls in the animation team, when you use a microphone, you don't have to shout, we are not (all) deaf, (especially calling the bingo!) the mic does it for you! And sometimes, the music is so loud it feels like a night club in the middle of the day! (for us 60+ year olds!) I think the music is played on a streaming channel so volume is inconsistent. A cd would work better I think. (60's, 70's, 80's?). Finally, whilst the bingo is only for fun, my wife found it really insulting to find she had won A MEDAL?? Which she declined! Other hotels buy shed loads of cheap sun hats and bags etc (with hotel logo) Something useful! Great hotel, and would definitely stay again (If they'll let me now?) Big shout for the great staff, especially Miguel!"

"Fantastic hotel, friendly staff, felt safe and secure. Plenty to do locally, shops, beach and bars all a few minutes walk. Kids food menu wasn’t great selection and only had fizzy drinks (would have been nice to sell squash etc). Plenty of food choice but only a few specials per day. There was a serious accident whilst onsite resulting in ambulance being called, the hotel tried to bill £400 for a doctor who turned up and did nothing whilst two UK nurses provided life saving first aid, I think staff could benefit better training. Besides this I would recommend and overall was decent and would definitely stay again."
