"We stayed for 11 nights end of May and the weather was glorious which always helps :-) There are good and bad points to this hotel and I think the 3.6 rating overall is accurate. Good points.. Location, one of the best beaches in menorca is on the doorstep and its breathtaking. Pools, really good ( cold at first,) but lovely layout, toilets near and we always found a lounger. Clean, everywhere was clean and I couldn't fault it. Staff, really helpful. Now to the bad points. Food.. we went half board, if we'd have been all inclusive I would have struggled. Breakfast was OK, and always found something.. evening meals were very random.. nothing went together.. for instance one night there was egg fried rice and spring rolls so I assumed a Chinese theme, but no it was then beef stew.. all of the meat except for the grilled chicken was like chewing an old shoe.. there was no paella and it looked like cobbled left overs rather than actual meals..so not the best. The hotel itself could do with a revamp, the corridors reminded me of a hospital and the rooms a little dated, but comfy beds and it wouldn't put me off returning. All in all I would return as its pounds difference to go half board instead of b&b its worth it as long as you factor in half meals out. The other thing to note and I hate how much of an entitled Brit I sound, but all the entertainment is in Spanish, and whilst I try my best, my 7 year old felt really out of the kids entertainment. We normally go to neighbouring santo tomas and the kids clubs there are a bit more international however I would still return to this hotel if I saw a good deal as the location is amazing"

"Hotel is huge compared to my usual holiday. Emailed hotel prior to visit for a quiet room. Yes it was away from neighbours but the entertainment of an evening made it unpleasant. I asked for an another room but reception advised I did have a quiet area! Other guest I met were on the other side of hotel and did not hear the entertainment!! Couldn’t be bothered to press the issue just wanted a stress free break. Food never hot, not enough vegetarian options. The restaurant itself is so noisy and children running round unsupervised.The smaller pool was never open until 11am. Average sunloungers and not many parasols. Music in quiet area was dull and monotonous. Met some nice people and was a nice break but would not return"

"Very disappointing stay from start to finish. We arrived as a family expecting a relaxing holiday but unfortunately the hotel fell far below expectations in almost every area. The overall atmosphere was unwelcoming and uncomfortable throughout our stay. The customer service was not great although this doesn't represent Jet2. The hotel staff rarely interacted with us positively and most seemed uninterested or unhappy to help. The entertainment team made little effort with us really and reception staff were abrupt on our arrival, which immediately gave a bad first impression. Around the hotel, bar staff appeared fed up and unfriendly. The accommodation itself badly needs updating. The rooms felt worn out and neglected, with peeling paint and dated furniture. We were shocked to have to pay extra for basic things such as a kettle but understood the deposit for a safe. The pool area was another let-down. The water was extremely cold and there was no lively holiday atmosphere at all. Rules around the sunbeds were excessive — towels were removed almost immediately if beds were left unattended for a short time. The lifeguards were terrible too and spent most of their time on mobile phones rather than supervising the pool properly and even told me and another lady and her daughter to not use the floatables! Cleanliness around the pool could have been better too, with noticeable bird mess around the edges. THE WORST PART:- FOOD Food quality was probably the worst part of the holiday. Meals were repetitive, often cold, and there were very limited options for children. Much of the food looked unappealing and lacked variety... Sadly, this is not a hotel we would visit again or recommend to anyone else."
