"Really good hotel slightly outside town but a nice distance to walk. Room size good and pool area lovely. Staff were excellent Breakfast was just okay we just went once and went out the other days. Overall very good 4 star hotel."

"Arrived early at the hotel and was told very abruptly by a young girl behind reception that check in was 2pm. Didn’t ask for my name to see if the room might be ready. Very rude and no interest in customer service at all. We went back to ask if we could change somewhere, luckily a lovely lady, Iris, actually checked and found our room was indeed ready, we had paid for a superior room. We then enquired about towels for the pool. It was 32C that day and some sunbathing and swimming was high on the agenda after an early start and long day. We were then informed that the pool only opened on Saturday and Sunday. Even the area around the pool to sit or lay was closed!! This was Tuesday and we fly back on Sunday. What an absolute waste of time and money. We checked out the following day. We are now taking this up with EasyJet holidays as the filter for hotels was set to swimming pools. We have been to this hotel a few times before, but clearly the staff standards have dropped and we will not return. They showed a complete lack of interest in anything."

"Absolutely spotless hotel . An easy flat 20 min walk to the centre , but ideal for our theatre visit. Large room, quiet , and very comfortable bed and extra pillows. Well lit and spacious bathroom , with fluffy towels . Fridge , but no tea /coffee facilities and very expensive snacks available in the room . Bar prices very reasonable for a city . Outdoor pool and surroundings , very well kept. Polite staff .Did not use the restaurant., but the bar menu had plenty of choice . parking extra , and quite difficult ."
