"We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights in Mid-may. The hotel location is very centrally located and walkable to most of the surrounding historical area. There is also a taxi stand at the base of the hotel. Rooms were decent size for Europe and the breakfast had an abundance of options. We did have some minor issues getting service at the outdoor hotel bar but the inside barroom was very spacious and relaxing and does have live music a couple of nights a week that was not overly loud so you could still talk. The main complaint we had about this hotel was the overwhelming perfume scent throughout. There is a small perfume shop in the lobby and the very strong, unpleasant scent of the perfume could be smelled throughout the lobby and hallways where the rooms are located."

"Reviewing on behalf of my boss - Hotel is beautiful. Room was perfect. The concierge is excellent - fantastic recommendation for lunch and generally super responsive. The Manager, Christian, was very effective in dealing with the small issues we faced and was very apologetic. The terrace has excellent food and the sommelier was very knowledgeable and helpful."

"We visited on Sunday afternoon for a drink on the terrace before going elsewhere for dinner, after a 45 minute wait our drinks finally arrived, we didn’t have much time so asked for the bill straight away, after another 15 minute wait we asked again and finally it arrived. The hotel is gorgeous, the drinks were lovely but there is no excuse for such a poor experience. We would not come back"
