America Sevilla

"We stayed at Hotel America for four nights and found the location to be excellent for exploring Seville with many attractions, restaurants and shops within easy walking distance. Unfortunately our initial room had an overpowering sewage/drain smell. We reported this to reception and were moved to another room which resolved the issue. We also found the air conditioning could have been more effective, particularly given the warm weather. In both rooms the flooring appeared worn and damaged in places and would benefit from some maintenance. In addition, there was a persistent unusual smell in the reception area throughout our stay. Breakfast was adequate with a reasonable selection although the hot food was only ever lukewarm rather than properly hot on each morning we visited. Overall the hotel met our basic needs and the room change resolved the main issue, but there are several areas where the guest experience could be improved."

"Hotel America Sevilla is in a great location and is a wonderful hotel. We were on the top floor and had a patio with a beautiful overlook of the city's cathedrals, especially at night. Breakfast was good and the staff was helpful and friendly. Lots of restaurants in the area and a 10 minute walk to the older part of the city. Shout out to Yolanda for being helpful and funny."

"Close to historic quarter. Rooms were clean but noise levels from the street were high. Windows needed double glazing to block out the noise. Reception was very helpful with giving directions. Maps were so small they were virtually impossible to read. It would have been nice to have coffee maker in the room."
