"Regular guest, but this stay left a bad taste. I paid for breakfast without being informed of a 20-minute wait. When I arrived and found out, I had no time to stay and had to buy breakfast elsewhere. I asked for a refund — or at minimum, parking reimbursement. Both refused. The manager’s response was dismissive rather than solutions-oriented. For a hotel that relies on repeat guests, this is simply poor service. I hope management reflects on how to handle situations like this more appropriately."

"Stayed for one night few days ago during a short and quick business trip to Basel. Arrived late in the evening and check in process was quick and efficient. Also very attentive staff. Room was good, spacious, spotless clean and with all what you expect for a hotel like this....meaning mid-range and not luxury. Had 4 more colleagues staying here at the same time, we met for coffee during breakfast and it was very good. We also had lunch at the hotel restaurant after some business meetings and food was well served, good service and friendly staff. Reason why I don't give the hotel the highest rating is because when I arrived at the hotel, outside was quite cold, but in the room was like an oven....very hot and I struggled a lot to get the AC working to cool down the room. In any case, good experience and won't hesitate to stay here the next time that business takes me to Basel"

"Very disappointing. Was told at check-in that breakfast was either buffet or we could order off the menu. Next morning we went to the restaurant to order a small breakfast and were told we could not - it was the buffet or nothing. They said we could go to the bistro/bar for a light breakfast. We went there at 9:40am and the sign at the entrance said they didn't open until 11am. Then went to the front desk and they said it was open and serving food. Went back into the bistro/bar and talked to the bartender, and she said they were serving drinks but no food. Then back to the front desk person who said she would check, but we gave up after waiting five minutes. She then called us in our guest room to tell us the bistro/bar in fact was not serving food, but we could go up to the restaurant for coffee and a croissant. All of this took about 20 minutes. We gave up and went to a nearby restaurant. Just poor service, incorrect information, incorrect signage at the bistro, etc."
