"My experience at this 4-star hotel was extremely disappointing and unacceptable. The hotel does not meet basic hygiene, service, or hospitality standards that should be expected from a hotel of this category. First, the hotel charges guests for beach umbrellas and some basic services that are normally free in most 4-star hotels. They even sell drinking water to guests instead of providing it properly. The cleanliness was terrible. The blankets, bed covers, and several room items were dirty and poorly maintained. Insects were everywhere in the rooms and around the hotel facilities, which made the stay very uncomfortable. What shocked me the most was the condition of the water storage tanks used for cooking and human use. They appeared dirty, rusty, and contaminated with waste. This is a serious health and safety issue that should be inspected immediately. The staff service was also very poor. Many employees were unprofessional, unfriendly, and did not care about customer complaints. Instead of helping guests, some staff members behaved disrespectfully and ignored problems completely. The hotel management and supervisors were even worse. The hotel managers did not take responsibility for the situation and showed no interest in solving guests’ concerns. A professional hotel should respect its customers and maintain proper standards, but unfortunately this place failed in every aspect. Overall, this hotel does not deserve its 4-star rating. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a clean, safe, and respectful place to stay. And there is another very important piece of information: this hotel does not pay its employees their wages."

"Firstly, I have written overt 200 reviews, I am very benevolent, fair and honest. And so if you want to escape the world there are two options - blag a lift to the moon on a Elon Musk shuttle or visit here - at least before mid May. It is a sprawling complex in the middle of nowhere and very few guests (which I like). There were probably 100 when we were there but the season was about to start and six times that many were due. Maybe our visit was a gentle warm up for staff. So here goes: Reception...kindly welcome from Ademe, as we didn't print out our hotel voucher he did it for us. Also for the first time ever a hotel which actually met a request, placing us in the next room to our family. Well done. Money exchange and check in no hassle and no bother callings cabs. Thank you. Hotel and rooms: lovely buildings, and the areas around the pool really clean and delightful, zillions of sunbeds and an altogether pleasant set up close to the restaurant and bars. Aside of that though were barren wastelands, undeveloped areas just left. When you leave the main area through gates there are tennis courts and a football pitch, pétanque courts, you pass these on the way to the beach. The main pool was large, coolish but not too cold. No complaints there. Rooms: Very basic but spotlessly clean, built long before the USB era so you have to be imaginative getting your iPhone etc charged at night . A free safe easy to use, however no tea and coffee although our holiday company told us there was. You get a starter of two small bottles of water however after that pay for it or use the water dispensers around the complex. Take a water bottle. Maid did an excellent job and was duly tipped. Beach very nice, moreso when someone cleared the seaweed. Beware in high season you have to pay around £63 a week to hire a sunbed on rows 1 and 2. Others are free as are those on the grass or around the pool. Pool towels are £5 each...have to be bought at the shop. Dining room...hmmm desperately needs a manager, someone who ensures tables are cleaned and set, we frequently had to do it ourselves. make sure there are glasses for drinks, there Is enough food at all times (including scarce butter) and sliced bread for toast (kept running out) and find a way of keeping the food at least lukewarm. The offerings were samey and some of the meat cuts clearly cheap, Our thanks to Allaedyne who stood out as an excellent employee. Bars: Top class service in the inside bar, the pool bar left a bit to be desired. I did at times wonder who was on holiday. All inclusive cocktails are limited and some fresh juices are payable as are premium branded drinks. AI is until 11pm. Entertainment: the animators were animated but nothing to get excited about...bloke on keyboard singing x 2/3, belly dancer/ karaoke. We noticed there was an influx of new entertainment staff when we left, they will have to up their game. Finally... no chips all week, I had chicken six times and the fish looks much more appetising with its head cut off. And that is it from the hotel, we took a cab to the Souk, cost about 14 Dirhams and another to the town which cost the same. Cab to airport was around 40 Dirhams. Don't forget the tourist tax of around 168 d for two people over a week. We enjoyed our holiday. Wish the hotel good luck for the summer."

"Currently at The Djerba Golf Resort and Spa hotel and myself and my gf are loving it here. We have a lovely room, the staff are wonderful and the food is varied and plentiful. Can't find any faults at all with this hotel"
