"The hotel is a low three star, the food is a lot to be desired and I like to try anything and everything. We were there for two weeks from the last week in may to the 6th June. When we arrived check in was great and our rooms were ready, the bell boys in the hotel are great, there was 10 of us 7 adults two of which have disabilities and 3 children. After booking in we were shown to our rooms which was small yet clean, the shower is tiny and I am not a big person. There were three adults in our room and there was enough storage space for three of us for a fortnight. After unpacking, we decided to go for a drink and a walk around the grounds to get our bearings. We were swamped by sales reps selling camel rides, quad biking, spa treatments etc. They don’t like to take no for an answer, the guy selling train rides to the medina I actually lost my temper with him by day 10(there is only so many times you can politely say no thanks). We did a spa treatment and really enjoyed the relaxing time after a long day travelling, that is one thing I would really recommend. The steam room and massage in the spa was so nice I actually fell asleep. The staff really make this hotel work, Mehrez will go out of his way to make your evening the best. He was waiting on us hand and foot, every time we needed a drink from the bar he was there. Now about the best part of this holiday … the entertainment team, what an absolute bunch of genuine nice youngsters that work hard and try their best to make your holiday as memorable and as fun as possible. Moskito, Fly, Rocky, JoJo, Sassou to mention a few and my son’s favourite which we nick named snoop dog as we couldn’t pronounce his name. These guys are worth their weight in gold to this hotel and made our holiday. The sunbed situation is the same as any other hotel, we found the beach the best for sunbeds, the aqua park is small but fun and the main pool area is where all the activities happen this is where you will find it hard to get a sunbed( the lifeguards will help you out if you are struggling). To sum up my stay, would I return? Yes but for no more than a week. Would I rate the food? Not at all, sugar in everything and no sugar free drinks on offer. Bar and entertainment? Brilliant staff and a good choice of drinks but no sugar free options."

"Wow, what an experience. This coastal area has been heavily hit with loss of tourism. Lots of hotels are unoccupied, derelict, and many abandoned projects. Samira club offers a "one stop" holiday experience. In a gated -compound with it's own beachfront your accommodation is ground floor air-conditioned "chalets". No iron, kettle, hair- dryer or fridge but access to almost 24 hour drinks at the pool bar. The pool is beautiful if somewhat dangerous at almost 2m for it's majority with a shallower end and a separate small childs pool. The various dining areas are excellent, both indoor and out (although smoking is rife.) Food is North African/ Mediterranean with multiple options each meal, salads, meats, fish, pasta, rice dishes, CHIPS, fresh naan, donuts, pancakes, desserts/cakes, fruit and a bar in the dining room. Staff will bring drinks to you throughout the hotel. The animation team/dancing troupe are led by the dynamic Kaloutcha and these 14, or so, hard working staff offer darts, archery, boules (petanque) volleyball, aqua-aerobics, water polo, tai-chi, and encourage everyone to join-in with their "thrice daily" song and dance routine. Early evening is kids disco, then early evening adults time before a six-night a week cabaret show starting at 9-30. The evenings continue until 3am!! There are salesmen in the pool area trying to tempt you into horse-riding, quad-biking, boat-towed parachutes, camel rides, a trip on a "land train to the nearby yacht marina, medina and shopping experience ( £10 for almost 4 hours and a safe excursion outside of the hotel.) An on-site Spa offers £50 total skin-care services and £20 pedicures which were well received. Also taxis queue-up for your business outside the front gate as the only means of visiting local attractions like the kasbah up north. The Hotel's separate Aqua pool has four slides only a two minute walk away. There really is no need to leave the site. Sun loungers have comfortable toppers and there are loungers and parasols on the beach. A kids club operates. Some male staff show an over -enthusiastic interest in single adult females. Take your local currency ( be it sterling, euros, dollars ) and exchange it at the hotel "bank", but remember to revert any leftover monies before you get to the Airport. All inclusive deals are excellent. June temperatures are very hot. Poolside sun loungers are all taken by 7 30 am!! A well-managed hotel operation!!"
